Scholarship Audition In Strings

The audition can be considered part of consideration for scholarship as well as admission, but all appropriate applications must first be submitted to UNC admissions before an audition date will be granted.

String students normally prepare two or three contrasting pieces that offer opportunity for expressive content, technical achievement, and, ideally, a variety of musical styles, i.e. Baroque/Romantic, Classical/Contemporary.
