University Band: MUSC 213, section 4

Only offered in the spring semester, The University Band is composed of approximately one-hundred students and performs a variety of literature ranging from orchestral transcriptions and original works for winds to popular music. Conductor of the Marching Tar Heels, Jeff Fuchs, also conducts this large ensemble that is open to all students. University Band rehearses 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday evenings and has one large performance towards the end of the semester – sometimes outside in Forest Theater!
