Scheduling a Performance or Event
The chair of the concert committee will reach out to large ensemble directors in late March asking for preferred dates for the following school year. They will then work with you to find a suitable date and venue. After the large ensemble performance schedule has been confirmed the Production Manager will notify the faculty that the event calendar is open for guest artist recitals, smaller ensembles, studio recitals, etc. to be scheduled. Please follow the steps below to schedule your event.
Step One – Confirming Venue Availability
- Use the online facilities calendars to see if the time, date, and venue are available.

Use the venues about page to confirm the venue you have selected is ideal for your event.
Step Two – Submit Venue Request

Use this venue/room request form to submit a room request for your event.
Step Three – Venue Request Confirmation
- The Production Manager will then email you and the Communications Coordinator a confirmation that your request has been confirmed or denied.

After all has been confirmed please email the Communications Coordinator event details you would like added to the department’s online event schedule.
