Dr. Henrotte was an assistant professor of music at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus from 1966 to 1982. She then moved to California, where she entered a second PhD program in German at the University of California, Berkeley. She graduated in 1988 with a dissertation entitled “Language, Linguistics, and Music: A Source Study.” She then became a professor at Handong Global University in South Korea.
