These courses invite students into the study of compositional techniques and the development of individual creative styles through imitative and original writing. This semester students in Professor Allen Anderson’s Advanced Composition class have written pieces for earspace that will be performed by the ensemble on Sunday, November 4 at 3:00pm in Kenan Rehearsal Hall.

Hone your writing, express your creativity, and find your musical voice.

The prerequisite for Musc 166 is MUSC 131. Musc 166 must be taken before Musc 266. Upon completion, each course counts for 3 credit hours towards graduation.
