Applied music lessons incur an extra fee. This fee is non-refundable.
FEES—1/2 hour $ 237.00/1 hour $ 475.00/Group lessons-90 minutes $ 425.00
1. All non-major students who wish to take applied lessons in the Music Department (MUSC 100-107) should use this form. This will ensure accurate record-keeping to the benefit of the student, the instructor, and the department.
2. Students should fill out all the information requested below, and notify the instructor selected. Contact information for instructors and area heads are included on the Applied Music Lessons page. If in doubt, go to the appropriate area head. If you have questions, ask the Department Registrar.
3. The instructor or area head will supply the lesson details to the registrar via email.
4. The Department Registrar will complete the registration process. The Department Registrar will retain the submitted forms.
THIS APPLIED MUSIC FORM IS USED TO BILL YOU FOR LESSONS. ONCE YOU TURN IN THIS FORM, IT IS UP TO YOU TO LET THE REGISTRAR KNOW IF YOU DROP YOUR LESSONS.
NON-MAJORS: REGISTER ON CONNECT CAROLINA FOR GROUP LESSONS (MUSIC 110, 111 AND 112) (no applied forms). Students must be registered for applied lessons 2 weeks after classes start. No exceptions.
Registration: For MUSC 100-107 the applied music form must be filled out by the student and confirmed by the teacher. (Music Registrar- Hill 105A).
Billing for student lessons will start about 3 weeks after classes start and will be billed to your student account. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR LESSONS.
