Verona Quartet – The Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle’s String Quartet-in-Residence

in collaboration with The Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle
Hailed by The New York Times as an “outstanding ensemble,” the Verona Quartet—winner of the 2015 Concert Artists Guild Competition—has quickly earned a stellar reputation as one of the most compelling young quartets in chamber music today for their “interpretive strength…robust characterization [and] commanding resonance” (Calgary Herald). Here in the triangle this fall as the string quartet-in-residence with The Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle.

Performing Saint-Saëns Carnival of the Animals, joined in performance by UNC piano faculty Clara Yang and Mimi Solomon and narrated by Playmakers Repertory Companys’ Producing Artistic Director Vivienne Benesch, featuring musicians from The Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle.
Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 students/UNC faculty and staff. Tickets available at the door.
