Rameau cantate Thétis

Come for an evening of music from the French Baroque featuring performances by UNC faculty members. Professors Marc Callahan (bass-baritone), Nicholas DiEugenio (baroque violin), Brent Wissick (viola da gamba), Lindsay Leach-Sparks (baroque flute), and guest Elaine Funaro (harpsichord) will perform works by Marais, Destouches and Lully, and featuring Rameau’s exquisitely tempestuous cantate Thétis. This concert is the second installment of the 2017-18 William S. Newman Artists Series. Tickets are $15 general admission and $10 students or UNC faculty/staff. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
