Tomer GoldhagenTomer Goldhagen (he/him/his) | Trumpet
My name is Tomer and I’m a freshman trumpet player who is majoring in Music and Physics. I have experience performing wind band music, jazz big band tunes, contemporary orchestral scores, and listening to whatever I can get my hands on.

Daniel AsanovDaniel Asanov (he/him/his) | Drums & Composer/Arranger
My name’s Daniel Asanov, and I’m currently double majoring in Music Composition and Linguistics here at UNC! I’ve played in many classical ensembles, jazz groups, and contemporary style bands, and have written for almost as many. I hope to be able to continue to use my passion to write music that inspires people!

George WassonGeorge Wasson (he/him/his) | Alto Saxophone
Hello, I’m George Wasson and I’m a Political Science major from Mooresville, NC. I have been playing the alto saxophone since 6th grade. I’ve performed with scholastic, religious, and secular ensembles in that time. As a musician and a person of color, I hope to honor the impact that communities of color have had on creating the art that I love today.

Adam DoyleAdam Doyle (he/him/his) | Keys & Alto Saxophone
My name’s Adam, I’m a freshman at UNC studying Music and Computer Science. I have played both piano and alto saxophone since middle school, both solo and with a number of local and statewide ensembles. Music is able to speak to and resonate with others in ways that no other language can match, and I hope to spread that message to others as I pursue my passion throughout the rest of my life.

The Fall 2020 First Fridays series, cosponsored by Arts Everywhere, features students performing works by underrepresented voices. All performances have been pre-recorded for health and safety.
