The Elliston Trio

The Elliston Trio has been a fixture of Nashville’s chamber music scene since 2016. Consisting of founding members Erin Hall (violin) Keith Nicholas (cello) and Matthew Phelps (piano) they have performed a wide range of repertoire for audiences across the nation.

Performances include recitals for Nashville Symphony Orchestra (of which Hall is acting concertmaster and Nicholas a member of the cello section) the Nashville Steinway Society, West End United Methodist Church, the In Excelsis Concert Series at St. George Episcopal, and numerous concerts and recitals for patrons throughout the city. The trio has performed in residence at the University of Dayton, and they performed Beethoven’s Triple Concerto to close out the Nashville Beethoven festival.

The 2022-2023 season includes a return to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and West End Methodist in addition to their recital at the University of North Carolina where Nicholas is an alumnus.
