earspace is a contemporary performance ensemble founded in 2016 and partially composed of UNC Department of Music alumni. They create invigorating, multi-sensory performances of music worth believing in while investing in North Carolina spaces. Their projects explore the extremities of modern performance and work to bring audiences closer to the music they experience. earspace has performed across the Triangle at CAM Raleigh, The Fruit, Burning Coal Theatre, and less typical venues like the Google Fiber Space. They have collaborated with Carolina Performing Arts, Asheville Ballet, UNC Chapel Hill, and others, consistently delivering US and NC premieres of 21st-century masterworks and world premieres of new commissions for 6 years of programming.
