The Carolina Choir and Chamber Singers, under the direction of Susan Klebanow, will perform J. S. Bach Magnificat, BWV 243 at their spring concert in Moeser Auditorium at 8 pm. As this performance is part of the Scholarship Benefit Concert Series, general admission tickets are $10, and faculty/staff tickets are $5.
The Carolina Choir is the UNC Music Department’s select concert choir of 75 singers devoted to the performance of the finest choral literature at the highest level. Its membership is drawn from the entire student body and is made up of undergraduate and graduate students from many different departments.
The UNC Chamber Singers is an ensemble of 25 voices whose repertoire encompasses vocal chamber music of all periods and styles, with emphasis on Renaissance, Baroque and 20th/21st-century music. Members are music majors and non-majors alike.
