Offered through and administered by the Music Department in conjunction with The School of Education

Course work associated with the School of Education’s Music Licensure Program will satisfy general and elective requirements in the Bachelor of Music degree program and falls into four basic categories:

  • Studies about special populations in American schools
  • Studies in the nature of human development, families, communities, and schools
  • Studies about the ways in which schooling reinforces or erodes social equity and equality of opportunity
  • Experiences teaching music in schools
