MUSC 261: Music Production II

As a continuation of MUSC 161, Music Production II includes more advanced techniques in mixing, mastering, and music production. Listening and ear training with practical exercises will be explored. The work of notable engineers and producers will be looked at with an ear towards their production values and critical listening of the material. Learn by example, learn by doing. Taught by lecturer Jason Richmond (Grammy Award-nominated recording engineer) this class is a hands-on deep dive into the world of music production.

MUSC 261 provides 3 credit hours towards graduation upon completion. MUSC 161 is a pre-requisite for the class.
