Directed by Jeff Fuchs and Erin Cooper, the UNC Marching Tar Heels consist of around 275 students every year, and is open to all UNC students and counts for 1 credit towards graduation! The Marching Tar Heels play for all home Carolina football games each Fall and rehearse 3 days a week. This group also consists of the Basketball and Olympic Sport Pep Bands as well, breaking out into smaller pep bands to cheer on our Tar Heel student athletes year round! Whatever the event, these Marching Tar Heels will get you feeling the Tar Heel pride!
