Professor Richard Luby Memorial Fund
This fund was established in 2013 to honor the extraordinary contributions of Richard Luby, professor of violin and chamber music, who taught in the Department from 1979 until his death in January 2013. Gifts can be made by writing a check to the Professor Richard Luby Memorial Fund and mailing it to The Department of Music, Hill Hall, CB# 3320, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC 27599-3320. To make an online donation, please follow the following instructions:
- Click the blue “Make a Gift Now” link below.
- Once there, click the blue “Search Funds” button on the right side of the page. This link will direct you to a “Search Funds” text box.
- Type “Richard Luby Memorial Fund” or the designation number “0343” into the box and click “Search.” You will see “The Professor Richard Luby Memorial Fund” as an option.
- Click “give” to the right of the fund’s name to enter an amount and proceed with a secure online giving process.
