16 Festival on the Hill: Open Exhibit of Electro-Acoustic Music 10:00AM, Fed Ex Global Education Center - Peacock Atrium - FREE Open exhibit of electro-acoustic music representing 31 composers internationally • The public is invited to browse the exhibit between 10am-5pm each day.
16 Festival on the Hill • Digital Arts Festival Opening Concert 08:00PM, Memorial Hall - *Free Event This concert will feature premieres of new collaborative digital visual/musical works by UNC faculty composers Allen Anderson and Stephen Anderson and premieres of new works by Frances White and Rodney Waschka (NC State) • with UNC faculty performers Lynn Glassock, Richard Luby, Thomas Otten, Brooks Smith, and Brent Wissick. The concert is free as are all Festival on the Hill events - funding by the Department of Music, the Institute of Arts and Humanities, and Dean William Andrews.
