 2009 High School Music Camp
July 26 - August 1, 2009

Do you sing or play the piano?
Are you in the eighth through twelfth grade?

Then join other high school students who are "Goin' to the Chapel" (Hill, that is) this summer.

  • Carolina's High School Music Camp offers master classes and private lessons. You'll have many opportunities to work one-on-one with UNC faculty. You'll study music theory and music literature. And there'll be lots of chances to perform--as soloists, in large choral music groups, and in small ensembles--through a student recital, a cabaret talent night, and a gala closing concert.
  • As you hone your musical skills and knowledge, you'll experience a slice of campus life, stay in an air-conditioned dorm right in the middle of campus, consume mass quantities of pizza, pack the lounge to watch a movie, and have great talks with roommates.
  • The people you will meet come from all over.  And according to past campers, "instructors and counselors are very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, cooperative, concerned, lots of fun, and COOL!"
  • In short, the 2009 High School Music Camp is one great musical adventure. So shake off those chorus line blues and be a star!
