The UNC Jazz Band will give its first concert of the 2017-18 year in concert with the Jamey Aebersold Visiting Jazz Artist, Andre Hayward (trombone). As this is a Scholarship Benefit Concert, tickets are $10 general admission and $5 for students or UNC faculty/staff. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Join the Department of Music for a concert featuring both the UNC Wind Ensemble and UNC Symphony Band. Wind Ensemble is conducted by Evan Feldman, and Symphony Band is conducted by Arris Golden. As this is a Scholarship Benefit Concert, tickets are $10 general admission and $5 for students or UNC faculty/staff. Wind and Percussion Day

All prospective wind and percussion students are encouraged to visit campus on October 31, 2017 for a visitation day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students will tour UNC's campus and get tips on admission, play alongside the UNC Wind Ensemble, receive a free mini-lesson with our faculty, and learn about auditioning for music programs.
