Facilities
The Music Department is housed in the Kenan Music Building, Person Hall, and Hill Hall, all on the northwest corner of Chapel Hill’s campus. Two computer labs, numerous practice rooms, classrooms, rehearsal spaces, and faculty offices are all in close proximity and easily accessible to students. Two main performance spaces, Moeser Auditorium in Hill Hall and Person Recital Hall, are used by the various ensembles and performers. Our world-class music library is located a short walk away in the bottom floor of Wilson Library, adjacent to the Undergraduate Library along South Road.
