Laurie Smukler 2018 Luby Symposium Guest Artist

The Department of Music is excited for the 2018 Richard Luby Violin Symposium, an annual workshop named in honor of the founder of the workshop. This year marks the Symposium’s 11th Anniversary.

We are thrilled to welcome violinist Laurie Smukler, Artistic Director of the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music School and Festival, as the 2018 Luby Symposium Guest Artist. A virtuoso musician and faculty member at Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music, and Bard Conservatory, Ms. Smukler will present a recital and masterclass as the keynote events of the 2018 Symposium.

The symposium runs from May 14-20, and events are free and open to the public.
